I’m an academic labor unit searching for permanent installment, currently teaching at Loyola Marymount University, California State University Northridge, and Chapman University. I am a dedicated film & media studies lecturer and post-humanist. My research and teaching meet at the boundary between emerging media and film studies, media theory and media practice. My dissertation similarly exists in a theoretical overlap, of virtual reality and documentary. It is aptly titled “Virtual Documentary: the Virtual Real and Its Rhetorical Legitimations”. My current project investigates previsualization as both production practice and cinematic temporality. I also like the Universal Monster movies.
